Bloodstained Metal – The Finnish Metal Music Community Est. 2023
Bloodstained Metal is a Finland-based community for metal bands and music industry professionals. Founded to strengthen the Finnish metal scene, our mission extends beyond national borders: we aim to build bridges internationally and create new collaboration opportunities for Finnish metal bands abroad. In addition to our core activities in Finland, we have local representatives in Estonia and Latvia who carry out similar work within their own metal scenes, further expanding the network and fostering cross-border cooperation.
What Do We Do?
Primary way into the community is through the Bloodstained Metal compilation albums, which provide a platform for showcasing emerging Finnish metal bands. In addition, we organize live shows and small-scale festivals for bands within the community, helping them gain valuable stage experience and visibility. We also host open networking events that are accessible to all, providing opportunities to meet new partners, share ideas, and create collaborations. Our approach emphasizes low-threshold cooperation with various organizations, always aiming to build sustainable structures that serve the long-term development of the metal music scene both in Finland and internationally.

Behind the community is a committed group of metal music enthusiasts who have accumulated experience and knowledge over the years — yet we remain humble and continue to learn as the scene evolves. Every project, collaboration, and challenge provides new lessons that help us develop both individually and as a community. Our goal is to share what we’ve learned, facilitate meaningful connections, and help build a stronger and more resilient metal scene together.
