Strych:9 is a five-piece heavy music group founded in Tartu, Estonia, in 2018 by vocalist Kapa and guitarist Ants Reiu who have been since joined by guitarist Reio Jõelo, bassist Jüri Kallas and drummer Madis Kaljurand. Their music is characterized by a peculiar mixture of nu-, death- and industrial metal – all of the subgenres that the members have been highly influenced by since the early 2000’s. To date, the band has released three singles accompanied by music videos alongside their first full-length debut album ”Parasiit” released on 13.05.2021.
