Bloody Moon is a metal band from Laitila, Finland, that has been active since 2021. The band released its latest album, “Lost & Damned”, in late 2025 and has toured actively across Finland throughout its career. The band’s music is characterized by tearing riffs and catchy choruses, accompanied by a thunderous rhythm section.
Work on the song “Maniac” began in early 2025. After the first demo was completed, we started developing the track together with producer Mark Bertenyi. Following a thorough pre-production phase, we entered the studio to finalize the song. The track was recorded over four days in close collaboration between us, the recording engineer Toivo-Olavi, and the producer.
Lyrically, “Maniac” is about rising above even the toughest adversities. The song emphasizes the power of strong will and the decision to move forward, no matter how difficult the situation may seem.
The music video was filmed in Turku at Auran Panimo over the course of a single day. The shoot was preceded by live shows, with us arriving directly from Jyväskylä. Everything was ready upon arrival; the set had already been built by Toivo-Olavi, who also filmed the video, allowing us to begin filming immediately.
