Chordae Exitium was founded by composer/guitarist Tommi out of a desire to make songs from his own riffs that had begun to accumulate over the years. At the beginning of 2021, the lineup of the band was completed. Previously, the idea of playing punk had changed into Thrash-influenced Death metal, from which the band’s Latin-derived name Chordae Exitium fit to the band’s music perfectly. The music incorporates aggressive old school elements of metal with melodies. The band’s first EP “Ocular Illusions” was released in 2022. The second release will be out in summer 2025.
